The three ways to get AI UGC ads made

What you pay What you get What you still do Self-serve AI tool About $29 to $150 a month AI presenters, voices and an editor Everything else: angles, scripts, judging takes, editing, checking the product Creator UGC Commonly $150 to $300 per video, plus usage rights A real person filming your real product Briefing, shipping product, waiting for the shoot, a reshoot for every change AI UGC agency From about $140 per video, to several thousand a month Finished ads, and at the higher end the strategy behind them Approving, giving notes, running the spend

Self-serve AI UGC tools

Entry plans as published: HeyGen's Creator plan is $29 a month, Creatify starts at $39 a month with a $99 Pro plan, and MakeUGC lists $59 a month on a discount. Most run on credits, so the real bill depends on how many videos you render and how many takes you throw away.

A tool is the cheapest way in when someone on your team can write angles, judge a take and edit. When that person is the bottleneck, the subscription isn't the cost that matters. Their time is.

Creator UGC

Billo puts most creators at $150 to $300 per short-form video, with usage rights adding 30 to 50 percent. Insense lists UGC videos from $100 each, plus a platform subscription and a marketplace fee.

The price per video is only part of it. A creator video means shipping product and waiting for a shoot, and changing a line means another shoot. Creators win when the ad needs a real person's real experience.

AI UGC agencies

Agencies that publish prices fall into three groups:

Per-video studios

FrameGen Studio lists $140 per B-roll spot, $160 per talking-head ad and $60 per extra hook, with no retainer. You bring the angles; they make the ads.

Flat monthly volume

EditClub lists $1,600 a month for about 60 videos, up to $4,000 a month for about 180, with no 12-month contract. Good when you need a lot of videos and already know what to test.

Strategy-led studios

Spark UGC lists from £3,000 a month, typically £3,000 to £50,000, mixing creators and AI avatars. Agencies in this group usually do the research and decide what to test, not only the production. Many larger agencies, like Darkroom and Biddyco, don't publish prices at all and quote per brand.

What Whim Creative costs

New brands can start with Prove It: $997 for 3 videos and 5 statics, credited toward a monthly plan. Monthly plans run from $4,500 to $25,000 a month, depending on how many ads you need and how much of the strategy we own. For bigger brands we also do performance-based deals, priced on what we take on. It's month-to-month.

Where you land in that range comes down to the list above: how many new ideas a month, how much of the testing plan we write, and how many statics ride alongside the videos. A brand spending $50K a month and one spending $500K need different things.

We're not the cheapest option on this page and we don't try to be. We're built for DTC supplement, skincare and makeup brands spending $50K or more a month on Meta that want an agency to own the creative strategy as well as the production. See how our AI ad agency works, or see if we're a fit.

Common questions

How much does an AI UGC agency cost?

Published prices run from about $140 to $160 per video at per-video AI studios, to about $1,600 to $4,000 a month for flat-volume plans, to £3,000 a month and up for strategy-led studios. Larger agencies usually don't publish prices and quote per brand.

Is AI UGC cheaper than creator UGC?

Per video, usually. Creator videos commonly run $150 to $300 each before usage rights, and every change means a new shoot. The bigger difference is what a change costs: with AI, a new hook is a rebuilt shot instead of a reshoot.

Why do AI UGC agency prices vary so much?

Because they sell different things. Some sell finished videos from your brief. Others sell the strategy, research, product accuracy checks, editing and the next batch planned from your results. The video count alone doesn't tell you which one you're buying.
